Edingworth, England
Lauren Lane and Daniel Welch hired an events company to handle their wedding. Just six weeks before the big day, the company closed its doors—but not before taking the couple’s £4500 deposit. Distraught, they reached out on Twitter. The bride-to-be tweeted this plea:
Looking for help with all aspects of our wedding after venue goes bust with 6 weeks 2go & with our £4.5k! Pls RT, RT like

Word spread, and people replied with offers of help and donations. In the end, they received more than £10,000 worth of donated goods and services. And the wedding? See video highlights for yourself.
