Kevin Durant played a pick-up game of flag football with his followers.

Oklahoma City, USA

National Basketball Association star Kevin Durant is an unlikely pick for a flag football team, but the 6’9” 230 lb. forward for the Oklahoma City Thunder made the leap to play a little football.

Durant and the rest of the NBA are on lockout due to stalled contract negotiations between players and owners. Durant tweeted that he was restless and wanted to get a flag football game going.

When a student at Oklahoma State saw Kevin Durant’s tweet, he invited the NBA star to join his fraternity brothers for a game—but not before teasing him a little. He asked the two-time NBA scoring champion if he could catch.

A few hours later Durant showed up to play. It turns out that he can not only catch; he can also throw. Durant winged four touchdowns as QB and pulled down three interceptions on defense.
